They are the most trustworthy, talented, awesome mechanics in the area. Our family has been going to them since they opened in a little hole in the wall on Frankford St.

First off, I admit that I think many mechanics and shops deserve the negative perception applied to them by many people. I've had my share of being told that my car needed something which I'm sure that it did not, just to inflate the bill, and most people I know have had similar experiences. It's been especially frustrating when I've spent hundreds of dollars on 'repairs' that did nothing to fix the problem. I understand that some issues can be complicated to diagnose, but please don't just keep charging me money for items that may or not fix the problem. I just want to find a competent, honest mechanic who I know I can trust to not rip me off if they can't fix the problem.

When I moved to the area 13 years ago, I asked around looking for a reliable mechanic.  A friend recommended Dave and Wayne's.  I have used them for 13 years with multiple cars over the years.  I have always been pleased.  I always leave the car for the day, the waiting room is not overly posh.  They have always fixed my car right the first time.  Occasionally when the problem is difficult to pinpoint, they always work on it until it is done right.  Yes, they look over your car and tell you if there are any major repairs that need to be done.  I appreciate knowing about how much time my brakes have left.  I have had other mechanics suggest work that Dave and Wayne's told me was not necessary.  They always call with an estimate before doing any repair work.  I find Bill and Dave to be honest people and capable mechanics who run a business that has reasonable prices and good availability.  I recommend giving them a try!

Great place! I have been taking my vehicles here for years. They are cheaper than a dealer, but obviously more expensive than some guy working out of his garage. With cars being so expensive today, I won't trust mine to anyone else.

I had my car towed and dropped off after hours and they were able to get to it the next day and replace the starter for a fair price.  Will use Dave and Wayne's for future auto repairs.

I'll never take my car anywhere else, the second time I ever set foot in the place they remembered what kind of car I drove (at that time). I buy really old cars with cash, most of them not worth more than $1,500. This garage always uses junkyard parts on my car to keep the cost down, sometimes it takes them a whole day just to track down a part. I appreciate the amount of work they do to keep prices down for me, I'm a customer for life.

Dave and Wayne's is a great family-owned mechanic shop. Good people doing good work. I have been coming here many years and never had a problem. They only do the necessary work and will tell you when a project is not needed.  Convenient downtown Bethlehem location.

D&W is an overall great shop, however, this review is specifically for Kyle and their alignment services. Kyle first aligned my Audi, and later my '93 Mercedes 190e. Yes, it's just an alignment, but he's super personable, lets you ask questions, and just does a great job. If I wasn't moving back to Colorado I would continue to bring both my cars here.
